We believe in prayer!  Imagine having a best friend that you never spoke to.  After a while you would not be able to call them your best friend and maybe even friend.  You would lose touch with them and your lives would grow apart. Prayer works the same way.  We have to talk to God if we want to stay in touch with God.  Not praying would only result in our growing apart from God and not closer to Him. At Trinity we try to encourage people to pray privately and together.  We have a "Prayer Chain" that is mobilized and ready to pray for anyone who requests prayer.
